Dr. David Skuba

BSc. DDS

Dr. David Skuba is one of the primary dentists at Bonnyville Dental Clinic. Dr. Skuba joined the practice in 1982 after graduating from University of Alberta and has been practicing here for over 39 years. He is a member of the Alberta Dental Association and College and the Alberta College of Paramedics. The part of dentistry he most enjoys is all forms of surgery, general dentistry, periodontics, biopsies and sedation dentistry.

He is passionate about being able to restore, repair or find a solution for problems that others may think not possible. Dr. Skuba and his wife Patti have 2 children and 5 grandchildren. He maintains his registration as a Primary Care Paramedic and is an active member of the Bonnyville Regional Fire Authority EMS division as a casual member. In his spare time, Dr. Skuba and his wife enjoy many outdoor activities in the beautiful Lakeland area.

Dr. Raeburn McInnes

BSc. DDS

Dr. Raeburn McInnes has been at Bonnyville Dental Clinic for over 20 years. He graduated from the University of Alberta in 1999. He is a doctor of dental surgery and has a specialization in pharmacology. Dr. McInnes enjoys most aspects of general dentistry, particularly caring for the oral health and wellness of patients and each member of their family. Dr. McInnes belongs to the CDSA, AHS, EDDS, and NEADDS. He emigrated from Scotland in his youth, grew up in rural Alberta, and is happily married with two wonderful kids. In his spare time he loves to play golf and tennis as well as go swimming, boating, and camping.

Dr. Ameer Awad

Dr. Ameer Awad grew up in Saskatoon, SK. He graduated from Walter Murray Collegiate high school before attending the University of Saskatchewan where he earned both a Bachelor of Science degree and a Doctor of Dental Medicine degree. His favorite part of being a dentist is meeting new patients. Outside of dentistry, Dr. Awad enjoys reading, playing soccer, and swimming.

Dr. Jared Anderson

DMD

Dr. Jared Anderson, DMD, is a dedicated general dentist at Bonnyville Dental Clinic. He brings a wealth of experience and a patient-focused approach to the community. A graduate of the University of Saskatchewan’s College of Dentistry in 2018, Dr. Anderson served as a Dental Officer in the Canadian Armed Forces for a decade. His service included postings at CFB Edmonton and 4 Wing Cold Lake, where he provided comprehensive dental care to military personnel.

Passionate about integrating the latest advancements into his practice, Dr. Anderson offers a range of services tailored to meet individual patient needs. He is proficient in dental implants, clear aligner therapy (Invisalign), oral surgery, prosthodontics, root canal therapy, and biomimetic dentistry, focusing on preserving natural tooth structure. Understanding that dental visits can be daunting, Dr. Anderson provides sedation dentistry options to ensure patient comfort during procedures.

Beyond his professional commitments, Dr. Anderson is a proud member of the Métis Nation of Alberta and is deeply invested in the Bonnyville community. He enjoys spending quality time with his wife and three children, participating in local events, golfing, and exploring the natural beauty of the Lakeland area. Dr. Anderson is an active member of the Canadian Dental Association and the College of Dental Surgeons of Alberta, continually seeking opportunities for professional development to serve his patients better.

With a warm and approachable demeanor, Dr. Anderson is dedicated to making every dental visit a positive experience. He ensures his patients achieve optimal oral health and confident smiles by utilizing the latest health research and technologies.
